The Lord Be With You!

Colossians 1:15-20
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

(In this season of Thanks-Giving, Lord God, we praise You
that Jesus, Your firstborn, is everything we need to know about You.)

For by Him all things were created:
things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible,
whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities;
all things were created by Him and for Him.
He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

(Thank You, Lord, that Christ, Your Word, spoke all things into existence,
and thank You, Jesus, that Your authority reigns over and above all creation,
even down to the very fabric of our daily lives!)

And He is the Head of the body, the church;
He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead,
so that in everything He might have the supremacy.

(Thank You, Jesus, that You have even conquered
the physical death that lies before all of us
and given us eternal, abundant, and whole life in You!)
For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him,
and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things,
whether things on earth or things in heaven,
by making peace though His blood, shed on the cross.

(Thank You, Jesus, that You were obedient
even to death on the cross to make atonement for us
so that we can walk in the Presence of God Almighty
clothed in Your robe of righteousness!)

May the Lord richly bless you this day!

In Christ's love,
