The Lord Be With You Today!

Isaiah 55:11b
It [God's Word] will not return to Me empty,

(The Lord had just told His people who were in bondage in Babylon
that He would set them free and they could look forward to release.
He was challenging them to trust in Him,
to place their hope in Him and in His declaration
even though their situation still appeared unchanged and deeply difficult.
He is giving us the same invitation and challenge today.
And here is only one of the many reasons we can trust His promises:
God's Word is so powerful, so mighty, that all of creation itself,
the heavens, the innumerable galaxies, the entire universe, the boundless cosmos,
was spoken into existence, merely and solely by the force of His Word.
When His potent Words go forth, they prevail. It's as simple as that.
When God speaks His purposes and His truth
through His love letter to us in Scripture, we can rest assured
that they are true and accurate, that they can be trusted to be truthful.

His Word is never without purpose or truth, never falls short, never fails.)
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

(His Word always accomplishes all His intended purposes,
not just some of them, but all of them.
He so desires that we hear and understand His love for us
that He actually caused His Word to become a human being in Christ Jesus
so we could better relate to this personal God that He is!
His Word will bring about His Truths and His purposes in our lives today
and His purposes for our life are always good.
He will complete what He has begun in our life
to fulfill His mighty intentions for us.
His Word speaks forth His love and salvation and hope
and His calling out to us and His calling over us.)

May the Lord richly bless you this day!

In Christ's love,
Blessings!
