The Lord Be With You Today!

Isaiah 63:3b-4
"I trampled them in My anger and trod them down in My wrath;
(Referring to the nations of the world, the Lord reminds us
that His righteous anger came against sin and the nations
who embraced other ways than His,
against those who are the enemy of God and His people.
He trod them down to overcome sin and its consequences.
Uncompromising, relentless, and resolute,
the Lord overcame the enemy and won the victory over sin for His people.)
their blood spattered My garments, and I stained all My clothing.
(Bearing the marks of battle, bearing the evidence of His might work,
He walks away from the winepress of sin and evil
with the mark of victory on His clothing,
the blood-stained marks that declare He has overcome.)
It was for Me the day of vengeance;
the year for Me to redeem had come."
(The Lord gives His reasons now for entering the battle,
for treading the winepress on our behalf.
His purposes, long ago declared and worked out,
were to take vengeance on the sin and evil
that has inflicted destruction on His people
and to bring the victory of redemption to them.)

May the Lord richly bless you this day!

In Christ’s love,
Blessings!
